What Does Certification Enable Me to Do? n instructor certified in Authentic Pilates™ through the New York Pilates Studio® Teacher Certification Program ("Certified Instructor") may instruct others in this unique system of exercise. A Certified Instructor however may not certify others in Authentic Pilates™. This is reserved for Teachers of Teachers, a small group of Instructors extensively trained and qualified under the guidelines established by the U.S.P.A.™
When properly educated, the public can easily differentiate the services that Authentic Pilates™ certified instructors provide from the services of others that teach general body conditioning or other Pilates programs. Instructors certified in Authentic Pilates™ through the New York Pilates Studio® Teacher Certification Program are recognized throughout the Pilates and fitness community as extremely well qualified to teach.
Options for a Certified Instructor are teaching at a Pilates studio, Certification Center, working as an independent contractor in a fitness facility, opening a studio, or forming a business partnership with The U.S.P.A.™ to open other U.S.P.A™ certification centers which will offer The New York Pilates Studio® Teacher Certification Program.
